The Fabrication of Waves

Have you ever been in a wave pool? It’s basically a big pool that fabricates waves by using pressurized air that shoots across the surface of the water and causes waves that mimic the ocean. If you have been to a wave pool, you see how the waves are similar to an ocean wave, but still you recognize a big difference.
The same thing is true with a genuine move of God’s Spirit and a fabricated one!
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.” 1 John 4:1-3
According to 1st John, there is a Spirit that is from God and there are spirits not of God. We need to be able to discern whether a wave is fabricated by another spirit or genuinely from the Holy Spirit. why? If you catch a wave that is from another Spirit, it can be detrimental.
What does it sound Like?
If you have been to a wave pool, you know there is a difference in sound between the ocean and a wave pool. 1st John talks about testing these Spirits because false teachers/prophets are going and speaking all sorts of things that don't sound like God.
Here are some ways to test if a person is Speaking by the Spirit of God:
Are They Saying Jesus came in the flesh ? (1st John 4:2- Herby you know THE SPIRIT OF GOD- Every Spirit that confesses Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God!)
Jesus came into the world to save sinners. He was born of a virgin! He lived and was tempted in every way yet he was without sin! He took our place on the cross and died a sinners death, 3 days later he rose again from the dead to justify us with God and make us righteous!
B. Are They Cursing Jesus? (1Cor. 12:3aNLT)- No man Speaking by the Spirit curses Jesus,
-Is someone saying he is false, not the messiah, not the son of God, not good. If so, they are not speaking by God’s Spirit.
C. Are they calling Jesus Lord? (1 Cor. 12:3b(NLT) No man can call Jesus Lord but by the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit of Antichrist will sound like this: “Jesus was a good man, a good teacher, a good philosopher, one of many ways. BUT NOT THE ONLY LORD OF ALL.”
D. Are They Contradicting Scripture? 2nd Pet 1:20-21, The Holy Spirit won’t contradict himself!
What Does It Feel Like?
I know they have powerful wave pools, but it still doesn't feel the same as the ocean.
The same thing is true with the move of God. 2nd Thes 2:9, Says The Antichrist (And those with his Spirit) Will many times have signs, miracles and wonders… BUT THEY ARE COUNTERFEIT! These could be real miracles- from the devil himself. There have been well known evangelists who have fabricated miracles.
God wants us to be able to feel it out and discern even to the point of seeing a miracle.
Signs, wonders and miracles alone are not a sign of God’s Spirit! They can be. Many Times they are. But we need to be able to sense whether God is behind that or satan.
The Biggest indicator is, does it point to Jesus? I watched a documentary one time about a man getting jewels that fell from heaven. He claimed an angel gave them to him. I listened to the entire interview and something just didn't feel right. A part of the reason why, is Jesus wasn't ever mentioned.
“He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you.” John 16:14
Jesus In Reference of The Holy Spirit says the Holy Spirit will glorify him. If someone is moving by the Spirit of Antichrist it will promote any name but the name of JESUS!
and get you chasing everything but Jesus!
How Was It Made?
Waves in a wave pool are manufactured. Waves in the ocean were made by God.
What's interesting is, we have churches that mean well and aren't particularly of the Spirit of Antichrist like this Scripture says, but are still trying to manufacture the “SPIRIT OF GOD.”
They are trying to make waves, when Jesus is saying catch the wave!
Zechariah 4:6 says, “Not by might, nor by Power, but by my Spirit.” I don't care if we have man made things, just as long as we have God made things as well!
